Summary

The objective of this study was explore how a consumer childhood is being promoted in contemporary society.

For that, we took in consideration the scope of this consumer childhood near us inquiring in the relation between fashion and childhood identity, as well as exploring the consequences of having an infantilised society.

To do so, firstly we worked literature about Bauman’s liquid modernity and consumer childhood and, secondly, we worked with conceptual maps to put in relation the collected data and analyses.

Finally, we reflected and got so some conclusions about the subject.
