This digital object has been developed from the University of Barcelona in Pedagogy Degree context, most specifically, in Digital and Visual Culture in Social and Education Environments Subject.
During the course, we got very interested in educative justice that we believe is an imperative topic for different reasons: firstly, as a future pedagogs we are, we cannot avoid it; secondly, because of its social importance; and thirdly, it’s time to approach to a such relevant issue although it’s less mediatic repercussion. That is why we decided our study would be about educative justice in our closest context, that is, Barcelona, trying to answer the question: Is there educative justice in Barcelona?
To do so, we focused not only in Barcelona city, but specially in primary school. To do this final report, we analyzed some primary schools whilst we read some literature to define the concept “educative justice”, as usually people think -wrongly- that it only has to do with third world. We realized that educative justice has to do with family incomes, quality of pedagogical spaces, how pedagogical relationships are understood, etc.
