Summary
The aim of this work was to explore the reasons behind the evolution of the personality of the Disney princesses. We chose this topic because we grew up watching and following Walt Disney’s movies and also because we were inspired by one of our curriculum subjects which introduced us to the digital and visual culture in the socialization processes.
We started the project by reading articles, Blogs and web pages that dealt with our topic. Then we continued with reading feminist critics, either positive or negative.
When we had all the information we thought was necessary, we begun to structure the work from a provisional index and then we started the drafting process.
Our goal then was to organize all the information so that readers could understand it and we could get to a logical and coherent conclusion, trying to answer the questions and define the objectives in advance.
Once the report was completed, we started designing the video that consist of fragments of different Disney films in Spanish with English subtitles, with which we try to explain the procedure we followed to reach the conclusion of our project on which we worked during February and March 2015.
