Summary
The body in fashion is a blog that is intended for a particular audience, as it has an educational purpose and, above all, promotes self-learning. We conducted a very interesting process which allowed us to get closer to the world of the blogosphere.
We linked different concepts, that are important and interesting thanks to their relation with digital reality. This reality gave us a very different perspective than we had for years. These concepts are the blogosphere itself, corporeality and personal image. They are intertwined in a way that the blog can influence and change the image of your own body both at physical and psychic level.
Therefore we chose not to focus only on one prototype of a woman. Rather, we also analyzed fashion blogs based on plus-size women, to inquiry about stereotypes in fashion blogs from non professional bloggers.
